Sizing Guide

To ensure your LouLouBelle's Press On Nails fit perfectly, it's important to know your nail measurements.

Here are a few simple ways to determine your size:

Sizing Kit (recommended)

The most accurate way to find your nail sizes is by purchasing a Sizing Kit. Kits include every nail size (a total of 14 sizes, from 00 to 09) in your chosen shape, allowing you to try them on and find your perfect fit.

How It Works:

You can choose to purchase a sizing kit outright or include it as part of your nail order.

If you opt to include the kit as part of your order, please note that this will affect the order fulfilment timelines. The kit will need to arrive, and you’ll need to confirm your sizes before production on your nails can begin.

Step 1: Place the nail tips over your fingers to determine your nail size. When pressed down, the tip should cover your entire nail bed, fitting snugly from side wall to side wall.

❤ Tip: If you find yourself between sizes, it’s safer to go up one size for a more comfortable fit.

Step 2: Record your sizes. The kit features designated sections where you can note your sizes.

Step 3: Now that you know your sizes, you can easily order a set of nails and input your measurements at checkout.

The Coin Method

Don’t have a sizing kit? No worries! You can use the Coin Method, and your nail sizes will be estimated for you.

Please note: This method has worked well for many, however, sizing discrepancies may still occur, and the quality of the photo makes a big difference.
For the most accurate results, using a sizing kit is highly recommended.

Step 1: Place your finger straight (not flat) on a flat surface with a UK Sterling coin next to it.

You can use one of these coins:

1 pound coin
2 pound coin
50p coin
10p coin

Step 2: Take a clear, top-down photo of each fingernail with the coin beside it. Ensure your finger stays straight, and avoid casting any shadows on the coin.

Important: Please ensure that each finger is clearly identifiable by their photos (e.g., left hand-thumb, left hand-index finger etc).
You can do this by labeling the photos or naming the files accordingly.

Step 3: Repeat this process for all fingers on both hands.
While most people have similar sizes on both hands, slight differences between the left and right are common.

Step 4: You can submit photos for sizing either before or after placing your order.

Before ordering: Email your photos to louloubelles.nails@gmail.com, and your estimated sizes will be sent to you. You can then enter these sizes at checkout on any orders placed.
After ordering: Submit your photos to louloubelles.nails@gmail.com, and your sizes will be estimated as part of the production process. The estimated sizes used will be shared with you, so you can retain them for any future purchases.

Measuring Your Nails

Please note that this method may have a higher chance of error compared to the other sizing options.

Step 1:
Lay a soft measuring tape over the widest part of your nail, pulling it down tightly to account for any curve. Note the width of the nail in millimeters at its widest part.

OR

You can stick a piece of tape across the widest part of your nail, pressing down to accommodate the curvature of your nail. Remove the tape and measure the distance between your marks with a measuring tape or ruler, also in millimeters.

Step 2:
Repeat this process for each nail on both hands.
While most people have similar sizes on both hands, slight differences between the left and right are common.

Step 3:
Now that you've recorded the width of your nails (accounting for any curve) in millimeters, use the chart below to determine your individual nail size.

Step 4: Now that you know your sizes, you can easily order a set of nails and input your measurements at checkout.
